BFS ALL-AMERICAN MICK SCHELL We inadvertently left Mick Schell off our BFS All-American Team. We regret this error. Mick is a powerful 6-0, 220 pound tackle-linebacker from Perkins High School in Sandusky, Ohio. He just recently signed with the University of Cincinnati. Mick was also the long snapper for the Perkins Pirates. The head coach is Ked Varble and strength coach Jim Patton states, “Mick is not only an outstanding athlete but a great citizen as well. He was born with severe club feet which still alters his running form.
Doctors thought he might not ever play sports.
Through hard work and desire Mick has overcome this problem.”
“Mick is a very goal oriented person who never misses a workout and is a super example for our young kids. He is everything a high school athlete should be. During this last season Mick had 111 solo tackles with twelve of those for minus yardage. He had 3 interceptions and 4 blocked punts!” Mick Schell was a second team BFS All-American last year and his 3.2 GPA, 4.8 forty, 530 squat, 385 bench, 540 dead lift and 260 power clean elevates him to first team status this year! Thank you Mick Schell for being Mick Schell — 6-0, 220 linebacker. an Upper Limit Athlete.
