Meet the Clinician:

A look at one of our most experienced clinicians One word that is often used to describe a BFS clinician is loyalty. Our clinicians are dedicated to the sound training concepts of the BFS Total Program workout and to the ideals of the character education program we call Be an 11. A prime example of such loyalty is Bob Bozied, who has been with the BFS family for 14 years. Coach Bozied is currently the head football coach at W.C. Hinkley High School in Colorado. He was named Coach of the Year in Colorado at Adams City High School and at Riggs High School in Pierre, South Dakota.

At the college level, Bozied was an assistant coach at Augustana College for seven years, a team that earned two Division II playoff appearances. Of all the achievements Bob has had a hand in during his 40 years of coaching, he is most proud of one in particular: his son, Tagg. Tagg Bozied graduated from W.C. Hinkley High School with a 3.92 GPA and was an AllAmerican baseball player at the University of San Francisco. He Bob Bozied has been with the BFS family for 14 years and is one of our most dynamic clinicians.

Professional baseball player Tagg Bozied has used the BFS program from day one in his athletic career. was drafted in the second round and has played in Triple A for the last seven years. This year he played in Taiwan for two months and presently is playing in the Pirates organization for Triple A Indianapolis. In high school Tagg played football, basketball and baseball. Says Tagg, “My dad always stressed to play all sports to be a balanced athlete.” That philosophy continues to be a hallmark of Bob Bozied’s coaching.

Bob Bozied is a great asset to the BFS organization, and we are glad to have this opportunity to commend him for his passion to help all athletes reach all their goals, on the field and off.
