BFS Dot Drill Champs
BFS Clinician Jim Brown has been at Poplar Bluff High School in Missouri for a little over one year. Naturally the BFS Total Program was begun immediately. The results were amazing. The photo below shows 19 Poplar Bluff kids who did the BFS Dot Drill in under 40 seconds before summer vacation. Mike Brown had the fastest time in a blistering 34.66 pace, which is the fastest time in the country. A year ago Mike's time was 42.0 seconds but then the off-season program started. Last November Mike finally broke the 40 second barrier with a 39.52 effort. Followed by 39.10 in December, 38.84 in January, 39.03 in February, 36.16 in March and then the record 34.66 in April.
Mike also Parallel Squats more than twice his bodyweight and participates in three sports. It's great to have athletes so excited about a warm-up. Obviously jogging a lap or doing jumping jacks just isn't the same as the BFS Dot Drill. It' s unbeliev able. The town of Poplar Bluff is going cra zy. After years of disastrous losin g sea sons, the football team at this writing is 9-0. The Secret Work s! NEWS FLASH!
