Education & Programs.

The system behind the equipment — weight room safety certification, character education, camps and clinics on your floor, and the books and posters that put the program on the wall.

Since 1976, BFS has been coaches teaching coaches. The education catalog carries the credentials and curriculum that make a program run: the Weight Room Safety Certification (WRSC) that answers the liability question, Be An 11 character and leadership education, BFS camps and clinics delivered at your school, and the instructional materials — books, posters, and log books — that keep the system visible in the room.

Certification and courses are online and self-paced; camps, clinics, and seminars are scheduled with the BFS clinician team.

Education & Programs — questions

The BFS Weight Room Safety Certification (WRSC) certifies coaches, teachers, and supervisors to the 11 BFS safety criteria — a self-paced online course with an open-book exam, a certificate for your audit file, and a year of Online Learning Center access. Districts use it to document that supervising staff were formally trained.

Be An 11 is the BFS character and leadership curriculum for student-athletes — goal setting, commitment, and being an 11 on a scale of ten. Schools run it as an on-site seminar with a BFS clinician or through the online course, with individual sections available separately.

A BFS clinician comes to your school and runs the training on your floor — technique camps for athletes, coaches' certifications, in-service days, and Be An 11 seminars. Packages are lettered A–K by scope; call (800) 628-9737 or request a quote to schedule.
